Worcester Information Worcester - viewed as the capital of the Breede Valley, one of the best kept secrets of the Western Cape - is nestled between the majestic mountain ranges of Brandwacht, Overhex and Langeberg Mountains, whilst the Breede and Hex Rivers flow on either side of the town. This charming town is surrounded by well-known wine farms and cellars producing outstanding quality exports. One of the most famous being the Olaf Bergh Solera Cellar at Goudini. It is a small but prolific cellar, which accommodate 22 Woudberg copper pots tills - similar to those used in Cognac, France for the distillation of high quality colombar wines. In early years, Worcester was laid out according to a definite plan with streets running parallel. This enables visitors to take a stroll through town to visit prime examples of historically preserved architecture. One of the latest contributions to the centre of town is the new Molco Development Project, the Da Vinci Building. This Art Deco inspired style was transformed into a combination of commercial space and residential apartments. The commercial space, on street level, houses one of the country’s leading banking groups as one of its tenants. The residential component of this three levelled building consists of a range of units including Bachelor style apartments from 42 m² to two-bedroom units of 111 m². In true Molco Developments style the building is renowned for its superb interior and exterior quality finishes. To paint a picture of absolute luxury, well known brands are installed as kitchen accessories with Hans Grohe mixtures in the bathrooms and satin chrome downlighters as light fixtures. All units are installed with satellite dish connections. These modern lock-up-and-go apartment units are available to investors, first-time home-owners and those seeking solitude from the hustle and bustle of city life.
